Hey, I am blessed to share camera with my kids who are more fond of it, and as a canvas artist I can now explore my art through lens this time.
As I continue to learn I am happy to share them with you. Most of the photos here are very meaningful to me, but some are nothing special except that I found beauty in them. Nonetheless I hope you will enjoy viewing everything because they are all taken with a heart.

Batch 31: No Typhoon But Flood 2012 (Photos on POS Cam)

Early morning of August 7, W e woke up on heavy pouring of rains.

A view of  the weather condition outside from our glass window.

First clear morning sight of the neighborhood.

The beginning, flood water starts to build up in front of our house due to relentless pouring of heavy rains.

Laundry area starting to sink.

The balusters of my parents house, good they still remain dry.

The road in front of our terrace.

Some people improvising some form of flood transport.

My niece moved over to our house since her apartment is already under flood.

Flood water starts to reach our tile floor inside the house.

My 83 year old mother stayed on the sofe to keep her feet dry.

My 88 year old father reading the day's newspaper on his rocking chair.

My wife preparing coffee while in flood water.
Busy bodies in flooded street outside.

Flood water continues to build up inside in spite of our floor's high elevation.

My uncle is a big help in putting our appliances and furniture to safety.

Flood water swelling outside.

The hall way outside the gate filled with water.

Inside, our folding bikes show the water is still half wheel deep.

There's still power by this time since the outlets are still few inches above the water surface.

My uncle and parents stuck in our house for better elevation.

A shot of the street outside. Boats from the river became the more effective mode of transport for the peoaple.

Just a reflection of our ceiling lamp from the flood water.

My uncle right outside our back gate, above knee level of flood water.

My father doing his morning reading in style, rubber boots.

Sunken garden.

No more electric power, it is difficult to move in darkness while sunk.

The morning after, it is already almost waist deep

Floaters for transport in front of our house.

This is the path way from our house going to the main street now.

Our barangay service boat for flood victims.

The new tricycle (it got three wheels too and some floaters).

Still very deep in the main street.

Doggie boat ride!

Outside Kapitolyo Homes.
